A Time of Danger and Reflection
In a time of danger and confusion, Am Yisroel must listen carefully.
The events happening today are not random. When Jewish people around the world feel fear, pressure, and uncertainty from every side, we must not look only at politics, armies, or world opinion. We must also ask what message is being sent to us from Shomayim.
For generations, Am Yisroel has survived hatred, exile, danger, and suffering. Nations have risen against us, yet the Jewish people remain. This is not because we are stronger than everyone else. It is because we belong to Hashem.
The danger facing the Jewish people today should open our eyes. It is a call to remember who we are.
Am Yisroel cannot survive by trying to become like everyone else. We cannot protect our future by forgetting our past. We cannot become strong by running away from the very source of our strength.
Our strength comes from Hashem and His Torah.
The Meaning of Naaseh V’nishma
At Har Sinai, when Hashem gave the Torah, the Jewish people accepted it with the words: Naaseh v’nishma — we will do, and we will hear.
Those words were not only a statement for that generation. They became part of the foundation of Am Yisroel. They declared that the Jewish people belong to Hashem and are prepared to live by His Torah.
That is the truth we must remember now.
Why Jewish Identity Matters
Many Jews today have been taught to feel embarrassed about being Jewish. Some have been told that Jewish identity is a burden, that Torah is old-fashioned, or that loyalty to Hashem is something to hide. These ideas do not make us stronger. They make us weaker.
To be a Jew is not a small thing.
To be a Jew means to be connected to Hashem, to Torah, to eternity, and to a mission that has survived every empire in history.
It means that our lives are not meaningless. It means that our choices matter. It means that every Jewish home, every Jewish child, every mitzvah, every word of Torah, and every act of loyalty to Hashem carries eternal value.
The world may try to convince us otherwise. But Am Yisroel must not forget.
We belong to Hashem.
Hashem entered into a unique covenant with Am Yisroel and entrusted us with a mission unlike that of any other people. We are the children of Avraham, Yitzchak, and Yaakov. We are the descendants of those who stood at Har Sinai. We are bound to Hashem and His Torah.
When Jews forget this, we become spiritually weak. We may still have intelligence, talent, money, and influence, but we lose the inner strength that makes us who we are.
The Answer Is Return
The answer is not despair.
The answer is return.
We must return to our Father in Heaven. We must return to Torah. We must return to truth. We must return to the understanding that ein od milvado — there is nothing else besides Him.
Hashem alone rules the world. Ultimately, our protection and salvation come from Him.
But we must decide that we want to be with Him.
Not halfway.
Not only when it is convenient.
Not only when danger forces us to remember.
We must choose Hashem and His Torah with our whole heart.
Every Jew Matters
This means strengthening Jewish homes. It means teaching children to be proud Jews. It means learning Torah, keeping mitzvos, speaking with dignity, guarding our souls from falsehood, and remembering that the future of Am Yisroel depends not only on soldiers and leaders, but also on the spiritual loyalty of the Jewish people.
We are obligated to do our part in the physical world. Nevertheless, our help and salvation ultimately come from Hashem.
Every Jew matters.
Every Jewish child matters.
Every small step back toward Hashem matters.
A Time to Stand Tall
This is not a time to weaken.
It is not a time to be ashamed.
It is not a time to run away from who we are.
It is a time to stand taller as Jews.
It is a time to say again, with the strength of Har Sinai: Naaseh v’nishma.
We will do, and we will hear.
We want to belong to Hashem.
We want our children to belong to Hashem.
We want our homes to belong to Hashem.
We want the future of Am Yisroel to be built on Torah, truth, and eternal life.
